My advice is do not overbook your itinerary. We did and ended up cancelling things because we were enjoying the house too much. Sometimes sitting there and enjoying the view is the activity.

Do not miss sunset from the rooftop. We went up thinking we would stay for ten minutes and ended up sitting there until it was almost dark. Probably my favourite memory from the weekend.

This was one of those rare rentals where nobody was ready to go home. We had beautiful views, lots of space, great meals together and time to actually catch up. The house gave us exactly what we wanted from the weekend.

Honestly we barely left. We had all these plans for Saturday and ended up spending half the day at the house instead. Huge kitchen, lots of room, hot tub and that view. Such a fun weekend.

First morning I woke up early and watched the light come in across the property. No traffic, no neighbours making noise, nobody asking me for anything yet. Best hour of my weekend.

We came away with another couple for our anniversary weekend and wanted somewhere that felt special without being a hotel. This was perfect. Private, peaceful and the sunset was beautiful.

Highly recommend coming during the week if you can. Everything felt incredibly peaceful and we could really slow down. It was the reset we needed.

We wanted everyone together for the holidays without squeezing into one person’s house. The kitchen became the centre of everything. We cooked a huge meal, the kids had space and afterward everyone could spread out and relax. It felt like having our own family home for Christmas, except with a much better view.

Two nights felt like much longer, in a good way. Maybe it was the quiet or just getting away from the usual routine, but everyone seemed to slow down almost immediately. Beautiful place.

If you're thinking about coming in October, do it. The colours around the property were incredible. Coffee in the morning looking out over the landscape was probably my favourite part of the whole weekend. Very peaceful and the house was extremely clean.

We came during the fall for a quiet anniversary weekend. The colours, privacy and scenery were exactly what we'd hoped for. We explored during the afternoon and spent our evenings at the house. Beautiful place to slow down for a couple of days.

We came to see the fall colours and were not disappointed. The whole area was beautiful but being able to enjoy the colours without even leaving the property was probably the best part.

We had grandparents, parents and children all together and the house worked beautifully for us. It's difficult finding somewhere that gives a large family enough common space without everyone feeling crowded. There were places for everyone to gather and quieter areas when people wanted some downtime. Having multiple bathrooms also made mornings much easier. My parents were perfectly happy just sitting with coffee and enjoying the view.

Sunset was incredible. We'd been out all day and almost went straight to dinner. Glad we didn't because sitting outside and watching the light change ended up being one of the best parts of our trip.

Booked for a birthday weekend with close friends and it could not have worked better. We did not need restaurants or venues to make it feel special. Dinner together, music, the views and having everyone under one roof were enough.

I'll be honest, I thought the photos were probably doing some heavy lifting. They were not. The view is actually better in person.

Such a good summer weekend. We spent our days around Georgian Bay and exploring Meaford and Thornbury, then came back and made dinner together. We originally had way more activities planned but ended up cancelling some because nobody wanted to leave the property!

We had beautiful weather and spent most of the weekend going between Georgian Bay, the surrounding towns and the house. Evenings were my favourite. Everyone came back together, cooked and relaxed.

We used the house as our base for exploring this part of Georgian Bay and the location worked really well for us. Meaford one day, Thornbury another and Blue Mountain during the trip. Coming back somewhere quiet afterward was exactly what we wanted.

We booked because it looked like a great place to stay while exploring the area. What we did not expect was for the house to become the destination. We still went out and explored, but some of the best parts of the trip were slow mornings, dinners together and evenings just enjoying the property.

We visited in summer and Georgian Bay was a big part of our trip. What we did not expect was how much we'd enjoy just staying at the house. A few mornings we did not leave until after lunch because nobody was in a hurry.

Perfect girls' weekend. There was enough room that a big group never really felt like a big group. We cooked, talked way too late, explored Thornbury and took about a thousand pictures because the views were ridiculous. Would 100% come back.

Clean, spacious, peaceful, great kitchen and an incredible view. Everyone in our group was happy. Not much more you can ask for.

Very peaceful location but we never felt too far from things. We could go into Meaford or Thornbury, spend the day out and then come back to complete privacy. Exactly the balance we wanted.

There's something about seeing Georgian Bay in the distance with snow all around the property that pictures do not capture. Quiet, bright and beautiful. I'd come back in winter just for that.

Our group loves cooking, so having a big kitchen and room for everyone to participate was a big deal. One person was cooking, somebody else was opening things they were not supposed to and everyone else was standing around talking. Basically our normal family dinner but with an amazing view.

We wanted a quiet couple of days after a really busy few months and this was perfect. We did not do much and that was the point. Cooked, relaxed, watched the sunset and slept. Came home feeling like we'd actually had a break.

Fall girls' weekend and we couldn't have picked a prettier setting. The colours were gorgeous, the house was spotless and we had plenty of space.

I originally noticed this place because of the architecture and in person it's even more impressive. The windows, natural light and views are beautiful. What I liked most is that even though the house is very architectural, it still feels comfortable. It doesn't feel like you're staying in a showroom.

I think I enjoyed my morning coffee more here than I have anywhere else. Quiet house, everyone asleep and that view. Simple things.

Came up from Toronto Friday afternoon and by dinner it felt like we'd been away for days. That's exactly what we needed. Quiet, beautiful and enough room to properly unwind.

We had friends coming from different cities and wanted somewhere that actually felt worth travelling to. Nobody was disappointed. The first twenty minutes were basically everyone walking around saying look at this.

We booked for the house. We came back talking about the view.

Pictures don't really prepare you for the view. We walked in, put our bags down and basically went straight to the windows. Beautiful house and beautiful setting.

Early morning might be the best time here. I was up before everyone else, made coffee and sat outside for almost an hour doing absolutely nothing. Could have stayed there all day.

We live in Toronto and basically wanted silence for a few days. Mission accomplished. Coffee, views, long walks, dinner at the house and no rush to be anywhere. Exactly what we needed.

We've rented a lot of cottages and vacation homes over the years and this one really stood out. It's not just the size. It's the combination of the architecture, privacy and those huge views. Everyone had a different favourite part of the house.

This was our first proper visit to Meaford and we loved having somewhere peaceful to come back to after exploring. We visited Thornbury, Collingwood and Blue Mountain during the trip but were always happy to get back to the house. Already talking about coming back in summer.

Meaford was not originally the main reason for our trip but we ended up really enjoying the area. It felt much more relaxed than staying right in the busiest tourist areas, while we could still get everywhere we wanted to go. The house itself was the real highlight.

I'm an architecture person so I probably noticed different things than the rest of our group. The proportions, windows and way the house takes advantage of the surrounding views are really well done. Everyone else just kept saying wow so I think they approved too.

Loved being somewhere private while still being able to head into Thornbury easily. We spent an afternoon there, had dinner out and came back to enjoy the house. Best of both worlds.

Beautiful summer stay. We explored during the day but some of my favourite moments were after dinner when everything got quiet and we could just enjoy the scenery. You really feel away from the city here.

The privacy was probably what we appreciated most. You're close enough to go out and explore, but when you're back at the property it genuinely feels like your own space. Very relaxing.

We woke up after overnight snow and everyone just stood at the windows taking pictures before breakfast. It was absolutely beautiful. One of those mornings you remember.

Eleven people and somehow nobody complained about space. Parents will understand how impressive that is.

My mother wanted quiet. Kids wanted somewhere to hang out. My husband wanted to cook. I wanted everyone to stop asking me what we were doing next. Somehow everybody got what they wanted.

I organize our annual friends' getaway and this was probably the easiest one I've planned. Nobody complained about their room, nobody complained about space and everybody asked if we could come back.

We brought our leadership team here for a couple of days and it was exactly the change of environment we needed. We got a surprising amount accomplished during the day, but the best part was being able to switch off afterward, make dinner together and just talk. It felt much more personal than doing another retreat at a hotel.

The only complaint from our group was that it was time to leave. Next time we are booking the extra night.

We came here with our management team for a planning retreat. During the day we had plenty of room to work and meet, and at night we cooked and relaxed together. It was nice not having to move between conference rooms, restaurants and hotel rooms. Everyone agreed we should do it this way again.

Hot tub after skiing all day. Enough said. Seriously though, this was a great house for our winter group. Warm, spacious, comfortable and plenty of room for everyone.

My favourite part was how everyone naturally ended up together in the evenings. Nobody went back to separate rooms like they would at a hotel. We cooked, sat around and talked until way too late. That is what made the trip.

If your group actually cooks, you'll appreciate the kitchen. We made breakfast and dinner together most days and there was enough room that cooking became part of the fun instead of a chore. Everyone naturally ended up gathering there.

We were several couples travelling together and the layout gave us a really nice balance. Enough shared space that it felt like a group trip, but nobody felt like they had zero privacy.

We were looking for somewhere for our family to reconnect for a few days and this house gave us the space to do exactly that. No rushing around. Breakfast together, day trips when we felt like it, long dinners and late-night conversations.

There's a difference between a large rental and a house that actually works for a large group. This one works. Enough bathrooms, enough common space and enough places to get away from everyone when you need five minutes to yourself.

Our stay was longer than most weekend rentals and I'm glad we chose somewhere with this much room. After a few days you really appreciate not having everyone living on top of each other. It was comfortable enough to actually live normally.

We wanted somewhere impressive enough for a client and team retreat without it feeling stiff or overly corporate. This worked beautifully. The house made a great first impression and by evening everyone was relaxed.

Beautiful architecture but still somewhere you can put your feet up and relax. That's what impressed me. It looks amazing without feeling like you're staying in a showroom.

What stood out almost as much as the house was how straightforward everything was. Communication was clear, our questions were answered quickly and arrival was easy. The house was beautifully prepared and extremely clean. We felt well looked after.

I am very picky about cleanliness and this place passed the test. Bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, everything was clean when we arrived. I could actually relax instead of cleaning the rental first, which has happened to me more than once.

Spotless. That's the first thing my wife noticed and she's very particular about rentals. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms and everything felt properly prepared before we arrived. We'd happily return.

Really productive couple of days for our team. Being away from the office meant people weren't disappearing between meetings or getting pulled into other things. We could focus, finish what we needed to do and then relax together afterward.

We came here for an executive offsite and privacy was probably the biggest advantage. No hotel traffic, no people walking past meeting rooms and no interruptions. It allowed us to actually focus. Beautiful surroundings did not hurt either.

The formal sessions were productive, but honestly our team dinner might have been the most useful part of the retreat. People who do not normally work closely together had time to actually talk. The house gave us the setting for that to happen naturally.

We used the house for a small company retreat and it was professional enough for what we needed during the day, but once the work finished it did not feel corporate at all. That balance is surprisingly difficult to find.

We've done team retreats at hotels before and this was completely different. People relaxed faster, conversations happened naturally and dinner didn't feel like another scheduled work activity. The setting made a real difference.

Our company group was small enough that a hotel conference setup felt unnecessary. This was much better. We could work seriously when we needed to and the rest of the time actually enjoy being away. The surroundings helped everyone decompress.

We do not ski and still loved coming in winter. The snow made everything incredibly peaceful. We cooked, read, used the hot tub and basically did nothing for two days. It was perfect.

We came for Blue Mountain but I'm glad we did not stay right at the Village. It was nice being able to enjoy everything there and then leave the crowds behind. Coming back to the house at night felt like a completely different part of the trip.

We spent a day around Collingwood and Blue Mountain and really enjoyed coming back somewhere quieter afterward. For us that was much better than being right in the middle of everything for the entire weekend.

Very easy stay from start to finish. Clear communication, straightforward arrival and quick answers whenever we had a question. The property was exactly what we were hoping for.
